Open 7 days a week, Grogans is the perfect spot to grab a light snack, a pint of porter or a pot of tea. For lunch we can serve you up a bowl of hot soup with brown bread. Our famous toasties made with Irish cheddar cheese and traditional deli ham are available throughout the day and night.

One of the few bars left where your conversation needn't compete with a wide screen TV or stereo. Grogans is the perfect spot for catching up with friends or taking time out alone with the newspaper. With a varied clientele and good-humoured, friendly staff you can be sure of a warm welcome every visit.

A unique art experience

Grogans is proud to exhibit original art pieces including sculpture and paintings by Dublin-based artists, all of which are for sale. Twice a year the walls are cleared to make way for new pieces, unlike conventional galleries Grogans takes no commission from sales of work.

As well as supporting the visual arts Grogans has a history of interaction with Dublins literary community supporting book launches and poetry readings from local patrons.
